Production-proven embedded AI and software engineering for teams building on Silicon Labs platforms
Digica has signed a technology partner agreement with Silicon Labs, and the two companies are now working together on their first project.
Digica builds software for embedded hardware: motor control, on-device machine learning, sensing, and signal processing that must run within real power and memory budgets. The partnership puts that experience to work on Silicon Labs platforms from the start.
Areas where the two companies expect to work together include:
- On-device machine learning on small-footprint MCUs, where model size and power budget decide what ships
- Preventive maintenance and condition monitoring from sensor and audio data
- Motor control combined with wireless connectivity and machine learning on a single chip
- Taking a working prototype through to a manufacturable, supportable product
"Every silicon company wants their customers building AI on their platform, but most product teams don't have the embedded ML expertise to get there fast. That's what this partnership is for; we've done the constrained, production-grade work before, so Silicon Labs customers don't have to figure it out from scratch," said Søren Bradbury, CEO at Digica.
Digica takes AI and machine learning projects from prototype into production: 300+ AI projects completed across medical devices, automotive, industrial automation, consumer electronics and defence. The work that matters to us is the work that ships.
If you are building on a Silicon Labs part and you want machine learning running on the device, tell us what you are building, and we will tell you whether it fits.
